For many a work of art on wheels, the Alfa Romeo 8 c Competizione, or in this case its convertible version or Spyder, is the latest supercar of the Italian House. The German coach Novitec I changed to increase their power and give some other retouching to its aesthetics.
However, many are in luck, because the most important changes are mechanical, maintaining the appearance of the Italian supercar practically intact. The preparation is offered both for the version coupé for the 8 c Spyder, although official Novitec images only show the version of soft roof.
Under the bonnet, the 4.7 liter V8 of the 8 c receives a new compressor, borrowed directly from Novitec Tridende, the branch which is responsible for Maserati models, albeit with a series of modifications to make it cupiese. Partly because of changes in the electronics, the maximum power of the engine passes the initial 450 HP to 600 HP and maximum torque increases up to 588 Nm.
Thanks to the improved power and torque, the Novitec Alfa Romeo 8 c performed the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and is capable of reaching the 305 km/h maximum speed.
The suspension, for its part, also replaced by a type height adjustable system coil-over. In addition, a stainless steel sports exhaust system is offered in option. Wheels five double radio offered the coach can be ordered either in white or black. Pirelli tires are size 255/30 ZR21 and 315/25 ZR22 in front and rear axles respectively.
Inside, Novitec offers also a tapestry of leather and Alcantara in the color desired by the client.
